KOLTECH takes part in the European NEMIS project - January 2004

NEMIS (Network of Excellence in text Mining and Its applications in Statistics) invited KOLTECH to present it's automatic CV processing application at its conference "Text Mining for Business Intelligence" in Rome, 23 January 2004.

KOLTECH took part in the second NEMIS annual conference, giving a presentation on the theme "Automatic Analysis of CVs, a Case Study : the CV Distiller Software".
NEMIS is a European network of excellence in the field of Text Mining, bringing together researchers, academics, industrialists and developers.

NEMIS' "Text Mining for Business Intelligence" conference was centred on the use of Text Mining in different industrial applications dedicated to, among other fields, CRM, Economic Intelligence, Technology Watching and Human Resources Management.

The participants were European Text Mining specialists : academics and industrialists (see the programme).
During the "Business Intelligence : Case Studies and Tools" session, KOLTECH gave a presentation on the potential uses of Text Mining technology in Human Resources applications, its implications for a company producing this type of software; and gave a detailed description of the CV Distiller technology (areas covered, functions...).
